Daniel earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University in 1994.  As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer at True North, Daniel enjoys the “organic” team atmosphere, camaraderie, and variety of projects he is involved with from concept to completion. He also very much enjoys mentoring the younger staff; passing on his knowledge acquired throughout his years in the industry. When away from work he loves to travel with his wife, work on their property in Camas, and generally enjoy the moment.</image:caption>

Her skills and can-do attitude employ her extensive knowledge of both the technical and business aspects to our geotechnical practice. Off the clock she volunteers regularly at Soulflags Art Community Center, a non-profit art center located in Oregon City. David’s participation with owner’s teams includes strategy/feasibility, due diligence, portfolio analysis, permitting/compliance, design, construction, agency/internal policy development and forensic evaluations. He also enjoys providing expert witness review/testimony during all phases of litigation.       <image:caption>Tima Carlson, RG Staff Geologist Tima has mastered new skills in the geotechnical industry for over 20 years and is licensed as a Geologist In Training. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Portland State University in 2000.   Her skills and can-do attitude employ her extensive knowledge of both the technical and business aspects to our geotechnical practice. Off the clock she volunteers regularly at Soulflags Art Community Center, a non-profit art center located in Oregon City. On top of all this she is married, has 2 kids, a dog, 3 cats, 4 chickens and an oxylotl.</image:caption>

She is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and is on track to transfer to PSU in 2024 and to graduate in 2026. In her free time, Gracelyn enjoys camping, hiking, playing video games, and designing future personal projects in AutoCAD such as a tiny house, a two story home, a shop, and more.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Hannah Coleman Drafter/ Engineering Intern Hannah is studying to get her bachelor's degree in civil engineering with an emphasis in structural engineering and plans to get a masters degree in architecture. She did many different kinds of work including accounting services, cooking, sales and child care before she ultimately found her calling in the field of engineering. Her and her boyfriend have a big fluffy maine coon named Theo and a russian blue cat named Meeko. In her free time she enjoys traveling, camping, reading and gardening.</image:caption>

As an undergrad, she has enjoyed opportunities to learn about soil mechanics and earthquake engineering through studying abroad and in her role as co-captain of PSU’s Earthquake Engineering Research Institute Student Design Team. In her free time, Lauren enjoys camping and backpacking, tending her vegetable, herb, and flower gardens, and playing tabletop games with friends and family.</image:caption>
